WHAT IS VR ARCADE?

VR Arcade is a modern hall for team virtual games

Modern hall

Players have an arena of more than three hundred square meters of space. The hall is equipped with 50+ cameras that track each player and immerses them in the framework of the game. The player doesn’t play the game - he is the game!

Top quality equipment

Our technology has gone through thousands of hours of testing and simulations. Thanks to an abundance of cameras and sensors, each participant of the game can play alongside each other seamlessly in the virtual world.

Team game

All our games involve cooperation among teammates. Players communicate with each other directly and can decide upon group leadership and individual tasks. The setting that we create can be a great way to socialize and make new friends while being competitive among teammates. Our games combine elements of VR technology, team play, and actual physical effort making it the perfect environment to have fun while sweating.

Addictive games

Our guests have the option to play various games, each containing many levels. At the time of opening, we will offer players two fully developed games and our developers and producers are already working on new titles. Our game is based on the classic concept of an Arcade which makes the first game as engaging as the hundredth game. In addition, mastering the game takes time-- the more you play the better you become. The addictive nature of the game plays a vital role in ensuring that customers return for more action.

Relaxation zone

For our guests, there will be a comfortable room where you can wait for your time to play, watch how others compete or discuss the experience after the game.

Bar

Both before and after the game, customers will be happy to take advantage of our state-of-the-art bar.

Gaming stations

While killing time in the queue, we offer additional VR games for free in the waiting room. People who buy tickets to play in the main hall will get to warm up using these VR games.

When my son took me to the VR Arcade, I didn’t think I was going to enjoy it. I have never been interested in computer games, so shooting virtual opponents did not sound interesting. I was surprised to see people running around the hall, screaming, and shouting at each other.

When I put on my VR glasses, I found myself in a completely different world. I immediately forgot where I was. Everything was so realistic that I didn’t think that the trees, buildings or furniture that surrounded me weren’t real. I took up the fight with a bunch of attacking zombies, protecting myself behind virtual objects. The only disappointment was that the game ended faster than I would have liked and I couldn’t play again.

I believed in this product so much that I decided to change the direction of my career and enter the VR business. I’m excited to introduce VR Arcade games to the Polish market. We are going to make it happen

VR Arcade Amsterdam is opened for visitors for 51 hours a week only. We are going to be open 85 hours a week, thanks to which we can nearly double a maximum weekly number of players. In Poland, we will set ticket prices at a little bit lower level. However, thanks to lower labor and rent costs, we will be to achieve a similar or even higher profitability.

A graph on the right shows the growth in the number of visitors of VR Arcade Amsterdam in the first months after the official opening. An aggressive marketing strategy will allow us to achieve even better results.

MARKET TRENDS

The virtual reality industry has been developing extremely dynamically in recent years

GROWING AWARNESS OF THE TECHNOLOGY

People all over the world have fallen in love with virtual reality and are finding wider and wider applications for it. Virtual reality has extended to virtually visiting interesting places, and participating in project presentations.

BUSINESS CASE: VR ZONE JAPAN

Recently in the VR space, there have been some impressive business results worldwide. The best example is the VR Zone in Japan. The playing room has six different VR attractions (none of which are at the level of our product). To enter the arcade, people buy tickets weeks in advance, and once inside, participants normally have to wait over an hour and a half to use each attraction. Crowds of people spend lots of money to experience VR Zone Tokyo, but often times most of their time is spent waiting in line.

OUR COMPETITION

The existing gaming rooms will be our main competition. Most of them have equipment that combines goggles and pads with cables that significantly limit the players’ freedom of movement. Full VR experience shouldn’t be restrictive and our services offer customers the freedom to move throughout our large space.

Experiences that are featured as the main attraction of other VR salons, will be available for free for each visitor, as a part of the general experience.

What goals do we have in front of us?

The technology has been tested on over ten thousands of players and is ready to use. We've gathered a strong team with years of experience in relevant fields. We are ready to go!

HOW ARE WE GOING TO SPEND THE INVESTMENT?

  1. Hardware: 650 000 PLN

To run the game, we need 50 tracking cameras (EUR 1500 per piece), game controllers, backpack computers, over 27 kilometers of various cables, a central sever, and a few super computers to run the game.
  2. Marketing: 150 000 PLN

We are going to put the most efforts towards the online channels: facebook, instagram, and google. We are planning to run large influencers campaigns. We are already cooperating with a few of them.
  3. Runway: 150 000 PLN

Securing the liquidity until our revenues exceed the costs.
  4. Capital reserves: 95 000zł

Additional funds to limit liquidity risks.
  5. Renovation of the space: 120 000zł

We aim for a modern, industrial, yet high-end interior design. It will be enriched with an art of one of the top European graffiti artists.

FIRST FUNDRAISING, A GRAND OPENING AFTER

Our plan is to open the hall for the first customers within 6-8 weeks from the day the crowdfunding campaign is finished. Preparations are already underway-- we have started to recruit our team and have a detailed strategy to enter the market. We also have gained interest from two well-known PR agencies and several well-known celebrities who will help to promote our business.

THAT’S NOT ALL!

The success of the first Polish hall will give us reason to open more. In the first two years, we would like to open 4 to 6 locations in the largest cities in Poland - including one XXL Hall with an area of 1000 square meters available to 20 players at the same time. Our developers are working on the first game for such a surface.

Once we find success in Poland we will look to expand worldwide. We have already gained interest in our product in Dubai and Los Angeles, where we may consider opening our showrooms in the future. Time will tell, but taking into account our experience and connections, these plans are not too ambitious! Everything is possible.

How do we make money?

A single ticket will be PLN 75. Each gaming session is 25 minutes long and allows 5 players at the same time.Being fully booked, we can generate PLN 750 ( EUR 175) each hour.

Based on 80 hours a week, if we are fully booked, we can serve around 3500 players each month. That number multiplied times the ticket price gives over PLN 250 000 in monthly revenues.

Modern investment opportunity

WHY POLAND?

Poland is one of the largest and one of the fastest growing markets in Europe. It’s central location, and rich cultural heritage attracts crowds of tourists who are visiting the largest polish cities all year long. 10th richest society in Europe tends to be spending more and more on entertainment. The market is growing, yet there is a lot of space for new services like ours. Polish people are early adopters of new trends and technologies. Labor cost is relatively low, thus it is a great place to experiment. We can keep on trying new things and experimenting. Development and testing are much less costly there than in Western Europe or the USA.

On top of that, there is a huge availability of both European and governmental grants meant to accelerate Polish economic growth. We will be able to grow our business leveraging non-dilutive funds.

PROVEN BUSINESS CASE

Our guests have the option to play various games, each containing many levels. At the time of opening, we will offer players two fully developed games and our developers and producers are already working on new titles. Our game is based on the classic concept of an Arcade which makes the first game as engaging as the hundredth game. In addition, mastering the game takes time-- the more you play the better you become. The addictive nature of the game plays a vital role in ensuring that customers return for more action.

VR Arcade Amsterdam has been a major success since the very beginning. Our goal is to allow our investors to generate impressive returns on their investment.

WHY ARE WE CROWDFUNDING?

We decided on crowdfunding as a source of financing for this venture because we wanted to give the opportunity to Polish VR fans and technology enthusiasts to invest in an innovative company in the VR space. We hope that everyone who invests in us will become a real ambassador for our company.
